Todd's Golden Fried Chicken

The food there was absolutely delicious the chicken breading was crisp and tasty, the best fried chicken I ever had. The mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious and the cookie and it was very affordable at $5

Love Golden Fried! Since I was a girl my grandma would take me here and it never disappoints. My all time favorite is the shrimp plate with white gravy for my fries. Fresh, and always friendly. Definitely a comfort food in my opinion. If your in Marion stop by and see for yourself you won't regret it!

My husband and I always make a point to go to the top rated local spot when we travel. It is without a doubt among the top five places we have ever eaten. I got catfish with salt and pepper and he got fried chicken. Our sides were mac n cheese and potato wedges. Everything was amazing.

The fish was good but my wife's biscuit was hard and my hush puppies were cold. And when we went to leave the back of the building had vehicles parked around the back and was just about blocking the exit for us to go around. My wife had to go in and complain. There's too many open parking spots for the employees to park like that. I can see if they were going to be unloading something but they weren't , they were parked because they have been able to it the past !

Great food. Happy to find some REAL Fried Chicken after moving here to NC. However, this was the second time I had a pretty long wait for my food. Went with my brother in law and sister in law, they sat and politely waited for us to get our food. 20 minutes later we got our food and some slightly overdone hush puppies. Sister in law was still waiting for her hush puppies that should have arrived before hers. I don’t know if these are one-off instances but if you have the time, the food is worth the wait.
