    One of my go-to lunch spots! The combination bahn mi isn't necessarily the best one in Charlotte, though it's very good. But it's definitely the best $4 sandwich in Charlotte, one of the lunches I can afford even on the tightest weeks.

    They have excellent steamed buns and Thai iced tea. I want to try the banh mi again, as they increased their options since I last ordered one. I always visit Honey Buns when I order Korean food and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly even when the line is huge.

    I've enjoyed every bun that I have had from Honey Bun's. Get a Thai iced tea and a Vietnamese Bun (the one with egg in it) you won't be disappointed! Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the line can get long and they only have one cashier, so it can be a wait.
