(February 20, 2019, 12:07 pm)Staff is friendly and helpful, and the establishment is always clean and organized. I've only ordered their fried chicken which is okay and their GRILLED pork chop which is always banging. So, lol they are somewhere in between just okay and great food.

Everything was cooked fresh. Our waitress was great. Next time in Charlotte NC I am going back 5 stars is well deserved! -

(January 27, 2019, 8:22 pm)Nice atmosphere, clean, and good customer service. We stopped in to check it out, part of our exploring our new surroundings. I ordered from the $9 lunch special and was a little disappointed with the proportions they served. (I ordered fish and got one Whiting, she ordered wings and got two wings) As for taste, they're some restaurants I wouldn't mind driving 30 minutes to get a meal; this isn't one of them. Twelve years ago they were crowned one of "Steve Harvey's best soul food restaurant". It's 2019 now, seems someone got complacent.
