I didn't know what to expect when we stopped here, but what we got was very, very good! Excellent food freshly prepared, friendly service and an authentic atmosphere. I was initially intimidated by the menu, which is large, isn't loaded with familiar items and is primarily in Spanish with English translation. Our waitress was very helpful, and a number of people stopped by during our meal to make sure we were happy. Our waitress explained that much of the food is prepared fresh daily, and the taste reflected that. The chips and salsa were excellent, and I would have to say that my Pollo Frito (fried chicken) would rival any of the famous fried chicken places in Charlotte. If you're looking for Americanized chain food this probably isn't your place, but it's definitely going to be a regular stop on our eating out list!

Authentic and delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. Service was very good as well. Management didn't appear to understand the cash tip for the waitress and deducted it from my bill instead. Never experienced that before, thus the 4 stars.

Exceptional service and food! The ceviche is a must try. Best I’ve had in Charlotte.

To rate on the food only, I would definitely give it a 5 star! I gave it a 3 star because the environment is not desirable for lunch time or for a family. They have TVs playing very loud on a station that provided music videos with adult situations that are not at all family friendly. As a woman, I don't care to eat lunch seeing half dressed women on top of a man in a music video . The TVs are placed on each wall, so to change my seat would only change which TV I was seeing. It was very hard to ignore or have a conversation because the volume was so loud. If this is the kind of entertainment they wish to show their customers, do not take your kids to this restaurant. I enjoyed the food so much and if I decide to go back, i will have to order take out.
