Great food an service. Little Run down building but everything was awesome. Must get the fajitas for two.

It looks like a rundown diner from the outside, but don't let that fool you! The food is delicious and everyone is welcoming. Well worth the trip!

Miguel's, in a word, is exceptional. While the menu doesn't stray much from traditional Mexican restaurant fare, it is populated by foods FULL of flavor. Their multi-purpose brown sauce was delicious, as were their massive tamales. And the house salsa, which is like a first impression, was garlicky and slightly spicy and tangy and delicious. As far as atmosphere is concerned, Miguel's is the epitome of a greasy spoon--humble surroundings with good food in a bit of an out-of-the-way location. If you're on I-85 in Charlotte and you're hungry, don't pass up Miguel's.

As others have said, don’t judge a book by its cover. A little rough around the edges. Food was excellent. Service was decent. I noticed the menu needed a wipe down as another had mentioned, but other than that, great food at an affordable price.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Miguel's building is modest, but the food is excellent and inexpensive. My favorites were the cheese enchiladas, and the sopapillas for dessert. My husband had grilled shrimp that were also quite tasty. A great surprise on a long, boring car trip. :-)
