Bamboo 7 Asian Cuisine

I don't understand all of the other reviews I read. This place was neither great nor terrible. It wasn't very busy when we went, but the service was good. The wonton chips were quite stale. The edamame was good. The Hot and sour soup wasn't spicy, but the server brought us some chili oil. My husband ordered the casserole pot and I had the Pad Thai. The food wasn't bad. It was somewhat bland, both in spice and general flavor, but again, not terrible. I would maybe visit again if I'm craving Chinese food. It was better than most Chinese restaurants in the area, but it's not a place I'll be dying to go back to either.

Off the beaten path and quiet.

We went as a group to this place. The place was tiny and tight. For the price the quantity of the food was great.

Ambience not so great but the waitress serving the food was good and provided with needed service like brining up the food and also suggesting some good spicy side dishes.

Need improvement in the interiors though it is tiny. Ok let’s get back to the food. My order was Vegetable dumplings and General Tso’s chicken. The dumpling was not great I had better ones elsewhere. The dumplings layers were little thick they need to be thin. With regards to the chicken no complaints but with the fried rice it was little bit salty. I thought I was the only one tasting too much salt but I confirmed the saltiness with my colleagues too.

Overall great. Also with the name of the place, I don’t understand why it was named bamboo 7 I thought only Bamboo could do. Business owner if you could share the story behind it then I would be happy to hear it.

Not 5 because I was told it will take 15 minutes food came out in 25 minutes but food itself is always great.

This place is amazing! Absolutely the best Asian Cuisine in Charlotte! One of my sons has not eaten Asian in years and rediscovered it, had 3 servings could not stop smiling and shaking his head! You have to sample each menu item at one point or another, its that good. They really take care in preparing. Oh did I mention the wanton gets you craving for more? They deliver as well! Outstanding taste and service.
