Homemade, fresh, hot and DELICIOUS!! Service was exceptional and everyone greeted us with smiles and pleasant attitudes. We lucked upon the restaurant 2 yrs ago during a family reunion weekend. Came back 2019 traveling through back to GA and the food was consistent and just as good as the 1st visit, if not better. YUM!!!

If you are EVER in the Charlotte area (Indian Trail) you MUST stop in! The food is AMAZING! Its fresh, it soulful and the staff are great! Great prices too. I can assure you, you won't go wrong with anything you order. My group ordered different entrees so that we could taste it all and my GOSH was it on point!

Hands down, the best soul food I've ever eaten at a restaurant! Food and customer service was AWESOME! And...its black owned! Just can't be any better! I loved it and I will definitely be visiting like every week!

Really, really good soul food. You won’t find much healthy hear, but if you’re looking for some cornbread, green beans, Mac and cheese and fried chicken this is the place for you. Fast casual atmosphere so its pretty quick and generally has ample seating. Be warned, if you go for lunch during a work day you may be falling asleep at your desk by 3:30pm

When I tell you this is some of best soul food period, it’s not up for debate. I am from Texas and been to soul food restaurants in other states (Atlanta and New York), you get no better than this place. The owners are some of the coolest people. I walked in at 8:55 and was able to sit down with my party and enjoy my food. Everything was made with love like your great grandmother cooked the food. Do yourself a favor and go here to eat
