Jyoti's World Cuisine

Absolutely delicious!! I tried the cubano, so satisfying!!! Literally, that is the word that comes to mind with the very first bite. The service is nice and it's classy vibe, but not so much that you feel you have to dress up. Great spot for vegans, vegetarians, and those just wanting to try something new.

I went to Jyoti’s for the first time in search of some healthy lunch. I stopped here and had the vegetarian lunch special which was a medley of vegetable curry and lentils. The food was delicious. It was very flavorful Indian dishes and was not heavy in oil. The perfect amount of savory spices. I found it was priced very fair for the quality. I spoke to the owner Jyoti who was very gregarious. Her daughter and the staff were very personable. A real treat! Also, the restaurant had a 99.5 sanitation rating. It was super clean.

My favorite vegetarian food place!! Jyoti's large menu is as eclectic and appealing as any vegetarian restaurant in Charlotte and I consider it a jewel in our crown.
Whether you like it "tongue searingly" spicy or very, very mild - you can get it fixed your way here. The employees are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. They will happily make suggestions or give you details about each of the items so ask away.
It might be a little bit expensive (as some here have pointed out..) but you get what you pay for... fresh, tasty food served in an appealing atmosphere by a great crew. I wish more places were this good.
If you're in Charlotte and looking for "World Cuisine" then look up this place. I'm betting you won't regret it! I make it a point to visit at least once a week just to try something new.

I would like to start off by mentioning the 1 star reviews on here. These people must either own competing restaurants and be jealous, or have a personal vendetta with the owner. Their 1 stars are NOT about the food. We drove from SC tonight to eat here with a group of 11. We ordered apps and 10 different entrees. We are people who have traveled the world and eaten at some of the finest places in NY, Chicago, Miami, etc and this place is 5 stars. The atmosphere is clean and calm and well lit. The staff is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is extensive for a vegan restaurant and flavorful beyond words. We all fully appreciated this wonderful evening and fabulous food!
