Great food. Atmosphere is upbeat and staff is very accommodating !!! I recommend using the Yelp App to hold your place in line during the weekends. Con: condiments they charge extra for salsa and sour cream. Make sure to ask before or it will be surprise on your bill.
A Charlotte breakfast institution! This place can have big lines so highly suggest to arrive early (they open at 630am). Portions are not for the faint hearted. I've only had omlette but it was packed with ingredients, very fluffy, and too large to finish!
Wish I could give it a 4.5, coincidentally that’s where the rating is overall. You won’t be blown away by a breakfast specialty, they just do everything really solid. Pancakes are obviously the way to go, but the omelettes are good as well. If you’re not starving you can definitely get away with ordering a half order of pancakes and still leave full. Really enjoy going here, but with so many great breakfast places in Charlotte this one is solidly above average
This was our first visit. It won't be our last. Lots of pancake options. Most dishes come with three buttermilk pancakes. They're very good, not excellent, hence the four star rating. But, that shouldn't stop you from dining here. The Canadian bacon, four slices, were nicely seared. The thick bacon, five slices, were nice and chewy. The over easy eggs were nicely done, as well. The coffee was okay, as good as most cafe coffee. They use fresh fruit with some of their pancake toppings. Next time, I'm having the eggs Benedict.
I had a fabulous time this morning with my group of 15 new and old friends. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food. I had the cinnamon nut french toast topped with fresh strawberries and bananas and strawberry syrup! It was delicious!!!! Everyone ordered breakfast except for 1 person, who had a sandwich. Our waitress, Teresa, did a fantastic job bringing everyone the correct items and even gave everyone separate tickets. Paying was easy enough- you pay at the front register. The restaurant is clean and tidy and all of the staff people are friendly. Just remember that you cannot make a reservation or call ahead, at least half of your party must be present before you all can be placed on the wait list to be seated. We waited approximately 45 minutes. It was well worth the wait. Today was sunny and warm. They have benches outside and a small waiting area inside with coffee and water.
