Celiac friendly. Cauliflower crust pizza is a great gluten free option. Always a fun atmosphere for our entire family.

The pizza is really tasty, the staff is great - we always get our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering - and there are chalkboards along the walls of some of the tables (which occupies the little ones when we’re there). The marinara sauce is my favorite.

Their service is great! All the employees greet you cheerfully and check in on you periodically to make sure everything is going ok. 10/10 in my book.

This is a great lunch spot. The food is very good and service is quick. Great beer selection at dinner as well.

This middling family-oriented pizza joint was described to me as "low cultural capital food for people with high economic capital." While that's a bit harsh for a Charlotte-area pizza place, the sentiment is generally in the right direction. As a native-New Jerseyian and current resident of New York, I'm probably a tough customer to please when it comes to pizza south of the Mason-Dixon line. That being said, it's not an impossible task. Mellow Mushroom is lovely (as is other pizza around Charlotte) and as long as the place doesn't try to be something it's not, pizza is still pizza. That's where Brixx gets things wrong. Though the beer selection is good and affordable, the pizza focuses on ~wild and crazy~ flavors, but forgets that sauce is NOT optional and that the crust needs to be doughy and like tire retread.

All in all, it's a decent, affordable place to spend time with friends and family (or other large groups), but don't expect the pizza to rock you.

Edit: the people here are very sweet and I'm maybe too harsh when it comes to pizza.
