On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Totally different atmosphere from my days as a busser here. Same great service. Guess they don't have to be in same uniform or no slip soles anymore. Great food tho

This was a very nice place to visit and have dinner, or to share some chips and drinks with friends. I really like it, but the service was slow because there was only one waitress for all the place. She was nice and fast, but there was a lot of work for just one person. Maybe it was a coincidence and that is not usual in this place. The food was good and I enjoyed the decoration of the place.

Went in for dinner last night. Our waiter took a while to get to us, odd because they weren't busy but after about 10 minutes we ordered. Then we waited. And waited. After about half an hour he came by and told us our food would be out in just a minute. 20 minutes later after flagging down another waiter because ours had disappeared, the manager came and explained that our server had forgotten to put in our order. We were his only table. Not sure how that happens. It was a pretty big mistake. On the other hand, the manager comped our entire meal (which was delicious when it came out) including dessert. So yes, there was a service mistake, but I've never seen a manager seem to care more about our experience. On top of the free meal we received $30 in gift cards. I'm actually pretty impressed .
