McKoy's Smokehouse and Saloon

Pleasently surprised at the quality of the food - it's really awesome. Obviously fresh and made to order. Not at all what you'd expect from a sports bar. Very good BBQ and fantastic sides. You really have to try the Mac and Cheese and the Fried Squash. Wow!!

We ate dinner at McKoy's. It was our first time at the restaurant. It's decor was out-dated. We sat in a booth where the cushions were torn. Perhaps, it's like this on purpose? The server was new but she was good. My son ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and fries. My husband and I shared the "live to dream" meal. It had tons of meat on it! The food was delivered in a timely manner. It was delicious! The meat was tender. I only had one thing to complain when it came to food. The chicken breast wing was cooked hard so I couldn't really couldn't eat it. And I had the cranberry margarita. It was delicious! And we ordered the green beans as a side. It was delicious as well. One of the best, we've ever had!

We really enjoyed our meal and the young ladies took great care of us. I only wish they had a bigger place and more parking. They have such a following that they have out grown this location.

There is no better place on earth especially in Charlotte North Carolina. Everything about this place is fantastic. They have a great line of domestic beers and craft beers. Their ribs are absolutely outstanding and their pulled pork is outstanding. And my favorite is there smoked wings with this Carolina cider ale sauce. Absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Not to mention the wings are huge. The atmosphere is friendly, the servers are friendly and there are plenty of televisions to watch your favorite sports team. If you’re ever in Charlotte for any reason I highly recommend stopping here and trying out the food and experiencing this place. I travel a lot and I always enjoy and love my stops in Charlotte and sometimes I cannot wait for them just so I can stop here and eat.

It was my first time there!! I have to say the place was amazing! The owner was great he CAME out and spoke to me and my client!! Great first impression. The wings were to Die for and the best part about them is they were GRILLED ????❤!! ANGIE was the bartender she was very attentive it was a busy lunch but she was able to maintain herself under pressure.! ANGIE ROCKED ????! GREAT WINGS!! GREAT SERVICE!! GREAT PLACE!!
