Sheng Ramen Ballantyne

The food here is amazing. The curry ramen is outstanding, and the yakitori is spice rubbed and grilled. The ingredients are fresh, and the service is excellent.

The drink options are sad. There is no selection of local beer. The sake is limited and boring. The wine is uninspiring. The tea is bagged.

If you love ramen in any capacity, you'll love this place! Food was hot, fresh, and had good flavor combinations! I also recommend the yakitori as an appetizer. The spice rub and sauce they serve the meat with is immaculate. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely will be making this a regular place to eat for myself.

Yum. Amazing food. Ramen noodle dishes are sumptuous and large. The menu is small, but I consider that I good thing since they do a limited number of dishes to perfection.
The restaurant size is pretty small. I'm guessing it can seat 60.
Servers were nice and gave us great suggestions. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy.

Life changing! Lol I had herd about this place when I lived in Florida but every time I would come to NC I would eat somewhere else. Today, my husband and I decided to give it a shot and boy, was that a good decision. This is unbelievably good. I had the curry one and it was a party of flavors going on in my mouth. Not too spicy but spicy enough, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the service was incredible. I had a server who was the sweetest. Her name was Callie. Also, it was so much Food that I wasn’t able to finish it and that is something that does not happen a lot because I CAN EAT. I’ll be back soon!!

The food is fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Gyozo is exquisite — perfectly fried on one side. It’s the perfect crunch with the perfect bite. Staff are friendly and serve as swiftly as freshly prepared food allows. Take a look at their excellent variety of Sake. You won’t be disappointed. I love this place!
