Sangam Indian Cuisine

My family and I stop by this restaurant every time we go to charlotte international airport. Great location. Owner is just amazing. We have been going to this restaurant for at least 6 years that I can remember and owner always comes and greet personally with smile. Food is great too otherwise we won't be stopping here for 6+years. lol. thank you for great food and service.

I went on the recommendation of a friend who eats here frequently. I was hesitant, because I had not enjoyed Indian food I had eaten previously. She suggested we go for the lunch buffet so I could try a bit of everything. We did, and let me tell you I found a number of things I loved!! The tandoori chicken, a fried vegetable fritter, and a light vegetable curry were my favorites. I wish I knew the names of these and the other dishes so I could share them with you. I know realize I didn't think I liked Indian food, because I had never had GOOD Indian food. I have already planned my next visit to Sangam. I highly recommend everyone give this restaurant a try. You won't regret it. The food is delicious!!

Sangam is a good, if fairly standard Indian restaurant. The dishes are not very adventurous, and if you go frequently, you might tire of it. I prefer other Charlotte area restaurants, that are worth the drive. But for something tasty and dependable it's a good choice. For those driving down I-77, it's a good bet for something more exotic than the normal steaks, burgers, ribs, and fries. Most dishes are pretty spicy, but not killer. Staff is very friendly and professional, and the seats are filled with an interesting array of people.

I was surprised to find authentic Indian curries and breads in NC. Shows how dated I am. You can smell the spices and dishes at the front door even before walking into the restaurant. Good smells that make your mouth water. The curries are not overpowering and moderate spicy. You can taste the other flavors and not just the hot spicy feeling. The only thing I didn't like was the fish, but everything else was good. It's a fun place to eat because everyone is so friendly and a lot of diners are regulars. Recommend to others who miss or would like to try Indian cuisine. Reminds me of Ahimsa in NYC.
