Brooklyn South Pizzeria

The one thing about places outside of New York City with NY name's is that it's never like NY. I'm not knocking Bklyn south as the food is good but it's not NY. The reason why it can't be duplicated is the local supply. They have to be there also! With that, if you expect to have the same taste as NY, you'll always be disappointed. So my review is based on the good food and the atmosphere. Our food was fresh and delicious.

Used to love this this place but last night we were disappointed. Pizza has lost its new York style. Slice was smaller than it used to be. Harris teeter is more of a new new pizza than this was.That's what made it a new York pizza. Staff very friendly and plentiful.

Italian, nice local family restaurant. Pizza, pasta, subs, etc. Very good. Order at counter, seat yourself. They bring order, not traditional waitress service. Comfortable atmosphere.

This was a recommendation by a friend, who said they have the best clam soup in town but only served it on Fridays. Finally made it on a Friday and it is great soup. The lunch specials made the visit even better. Soup a slice of pizza and a drink. Everything tasted great.
