Fox & Hound

My husband's family was visiting and we decided last minute to take them up to Birkdale for dinner. On a Friday night. Without reservations! We went in to a couple of the other restaurants as we made our way towards Fox and Hound and had no luck. We were hangry at this point and we expected a long wait at Fox and Hound as well. They were busy but we were enthusiastically greeted and told it was just a short wait. They had plenty of comfortable waiting space instead being packed in the door like sardines. We were seated very shortly after arriving on their very comfortably heated patio. When our server arrived, I could tell that our night was taking a turn for the better. Marissa was friendly, funny, and welcoming. She quickly lightened the mood and took our cocktail order. We had appetizers, drinks, dinner and dessert and it was all fantastic but Marissa really made the experience a great one. She made suggestions and recommendations, knew the menu inside and out and was very attentive. She made the evening fun and enjoyable and took excellent care of us. We all had a great night with great food and great service!

Josie is the absolute BEST! My boyfriend and I eat here often for date nights. The food is great and the service is outstanding. We ask for Josie every time and even if she isn’t there we are not disappointed by service provided.

I use to have great times. Wish they would get their sound system fixed. The tv's in the back don't have sound. I have found another spot to enjoy football.

I was with a group of 4 tonight, Angelina was our server. She was very attentive and made suggestions. She checked to see if we liked our drinks then checked to see if we liked our food. And to top it off, she chased me down outside of the restaurant because I left a bag from shopping before!! Excellent service, amazing person. Keep her around!!
