Metro Diner

Every time we come here we are always treated so well. Amazing customer service along with amazing food. I love coming here. The 2 egg breakfast is to die for!! If I could give more than 5 starts I would!!!

We love Metro Diner, but last night was not stellar. We ordered soup and sandwiches. The tomato bisque soup was excellent, but very spicy. My husband couldn't eat it, because it was so spicy. He ordered half of a ham and cheese sandwich, which came out not grilled. He had specified that he wanted it grilled. I ordered a grilled cheese on multigrain bread, and it came out on white bread. They redid it, and were very nice about it. Not sure if the problem was our waitress or the kitchen. The waitress was very nice. And there were some little things, like I didn't get a spoon with my soup, and couldn't find the waitress to ask her for 1. The iced tea tasted a little funky. We'll definitely go back, but it wasn't the best experience this time.

Can't go wrong with anything here. Just be prepared to come on an empty stomach! Always a fun experience going to a Metro- and this one is just as good as the original. If you're on a date or out with a couple friends, you should definitely try to sit at the counter bar- it's just so fun to watch them bring food to life and see what all comes out! They work really hard and well here. Food is always hot and fresh, and staff is always kind and friendly!

Went on a Sunday morning about 1100. It was pretty full. Told that the wait would be about 25 minutes by the friendly greeter who acknowledged me immediately even with a crowd with a "I'll be with you in a minute. " I was seated in 15 minutes! The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The food was amazing. Be sure to pay attention to the menu there are revamps to favorites and it could cause you to be taken aback. But if into trying new things like me then you'll be just fine.
