Kei Jei Kitchen

I lived in Japan. I love Ramen. This is good ramen. Way better than that "Fat Pig" place in the South End. This is real Japanese Ramen and it's spot on perfect. Even enjoyed my last bowl with two ladies from Japan and they agreed with my review.

Got the veggie bowl expecting a weak broth. It was quick, fresh and had a great, rich flavor. We went to CO across the street and the ramen cost almost twice as much, and was lukewarm and fishy. *gross*. Get a better bowl at Kei Jei!

I'm not sure if something has changed since the last reviews were written, but I went here for the first time today (its in Whole Foods, Waverly location). I had the chicken ramen. It was superb. Excellent broth, very flavorful, and the noodles were done just right. It's the best ramen I've had in Charlotte, and I've tried Co around the corner (awful) and Fahrenheit uptown (which was good but much further away, more expensive and longer waits when all you want is a good bowl of ramen). Highly recommended!
