Fantastic cooking class! Love the food and the fantastic class.
Went here for Saturday morning brunch and it did not disappoint! Ordered the pancake tacos, breakfast burrito and the Latin TBD with mimosas. Will definitely be coming back..worth the wait.
I’ve hosted many events at Chef Alyssa’s kitchen over the last three years and couldn’t be happier. The staff is super attentive and friendly, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is great (brand new everything). Chef Alyssa’s kitchen is nationally recognized as one of the best cooking classes/experiences in the country and you certainly won’t be disappointed. They have cooking classes almost every evening, weekend brunch, and now they cater to your home or office. This is a super fun experience that you just have to try with your family or office. It’s one of the best things the Queen City has to offer, and Charlotte’s got a lot....
Absolutely AMAZING food, service and atmosphere! After following Chef Alyssa on IG, I had to visit for Saturday morning brunch. The Pancake Tacos (filled with scrambled eggs and thick cut bacon) were delicious. They had classic mimosas and a Raspberry Sorbet mimosa. Both were very tasty. Shrimp & Grits have been added to my wishlist for my next visit. Brunch is available on Saturdays from 9AM - 2PM. The kitchen offers adult and kids cooking class and features family style table seating, smaller tables and outdoor seating. A must try!
I've sampled some of Chef Alyssa's food before, so when I heard they were doing brunch, I was so excited to try it.
We went on Saturday just after 9am and we were the only ones there (everyone else is probably still sleeping at that time). You order at the counter, take a number, find a seat, and they bring your food out to you.
We got the Pancake Tacos, the Modern Southern Bowl, and the Stuffed French Toast. Everything was amazing, but the Stuffed French Toast was probably our favorite. The over easy egg and fresh berries easily made it the best French toast I've ever had.
I loved the pancake tacos. The flavor was great in the pancakes and scrambled eggs and the thick cut bacon put it over the top. I'm not even a big pancake person, but these were great.
The Modern Summer bowl eat light and refreshing. It definitely felt like a good healthy option compared to the other things we got. We added some of the homemade hot sauce which really complemented the flavors.
We got our food quickly and the everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite (possibly my favorite) brunch in Charlotte. Highly recommend!
