Community Matters Cafe

This place is fantastic! Great coffee, food (the yogurt parfaits are to die for) and vibes. A snafu happened with my order and they were so quick to fix it and make it right. You can tell they really put their heart into everything from the food to the customer service.

This place is the best. Terrific atmosphere, fantastic coffee and food, sparkling water (which I love), and supports a wonderful cause in partnering with the Charlotte Rescue Mission. The employees who work there are going through the program and graduate after several months. Little pricier for the food but well worth it. If you go, try the Johnny cakes with pork bbq on top. Amazing.

All around wonderful place. They assist in the community. All employees are graduates of a community outreach program.
The food was delicious! I had a turkey burger, which had cranberries and cheese inside it. The cheesy grits I chose as a side were quite good.

Wonderful people and ambiance. This local eatery and coffee shop has a mission and a purpose! Providing hands on job skill training for their employees while serving tasty food. There is space in the coffee shop area for meetings or studying and a full service restaurant below. This is a place you must visit!

Such a GORGEOUS, modern spot to relax & help support men who've successfully completed rehab programs next door (& women at Doves Nest on West Blvd.) Jewelry for sale at the door that I am sure is by local artists. Definitely worth checking out. Awesome patio area. Dog friendly.
