Fairweather

Went there on Monday for Oyster Happy Hour- $1 each. We tried all 4 kind of oysters, our favorites are Carolina Gold and Sweet Petite. Oysters are fresh and sweet! The other side dishes we ordered—
【Beef Tartare】 tender and flavored, a little bit too salty
【Salad】is also fresh
【Cocktails】the matcha Colada I ordered is too sweet for me, but my friends enjoyed their drinks.
Overall satisfied experience. Though I would order more oysters rather than side dishes next time.

Couldn’t wait to try Fairweather in Charlotte North Carolina. We love Idlewild so much so I knew this would be the same. They have dollar oyster nights on Mondays and has a really amazing ambience. It’s almost like a lounge. We only had the oysters and we had a few drinks, and they were all amazing! Will definitely go back and try other things on the menu!

What a fantastic experience. My wife and I went to Idlewild not even knowing that this place existed and were sent here when we joined the waitlist for Idlewild.

The menu here is classic cocktails with a twist. I got the penicillin which was borrowing from its classic big brother to become by far the best penicillin I’ve ever had. This fresh take was so delicious and so wonderful I got another.

My wife got the drink with lemon and Prosecco. It was fantastic! No food for us this time as we had already ate, but I could not be happier and more excited that this place is here. The owner, Vince, also owns Idlewild which is a favorite spot for my wife and I for excellent cocktails in a “up” environment. This eclectic, dark, and casually elegant expression at the Fairweather is certainly a welcome addition to the Charlotte area. Excellently crafted cocktails.

Also, gotta give a shout to our server Jess. From the moment she said hi she was just the right amount of high level service and casual energy. Amazing personality and EXCELLENT attention to detail. Ask for her if you stop by.

My first time at Fairweather was an amazing one. First, our service staff was attentive and friendly. Second, all the cocktails for my table were high quality and tasted amazing. Third, the food…I don’t have a favorite because they all tasted amazing. If I had to pick one, I would say the mussels dish. The food elevated the cocktail experience. If you haven’t been to Fairweather yet, make your way. I have a feeling that it will get so busy with the cocktail enthusiasts who enjoy dining with cocktails, it will be hard to get tables. I hope to return soon to experience few more amazing cocktails and food to go with them.

If you love Idlewild then you’ll definitely love their sister concept Fairweather. The cocktails are executed perfectly and they food is delicious (the oysters are a must). Can’t wait to come back!
