Frida's Mexican Cantina

I definitely enjoyed myself along with the food and drinks. As pictured we had the guacamole with pork belly. This was my least favorite, it didn’t taste like much. The fried red snapper was seasoned to perfection. We did not enjoy the house sauce that was on the Mexican rice and the butterfly shrimp. The lime juice was too overpowering. Over all though it was a good meal.

Tried Fridas for the first time on Friday with a few of my coworkers. Made a reservation and was seated promptly when we arrived. Parking isn’t great depending on the time you go. Our server was great and was very knowledgeable with suggestions. My coworkers food came out before mine as the kitchen staff dropped my order and it had to be remade. They liked their dishes, mine, however was just ok. I ordered the Chicken Burrito (not pictured) and while good, it wasn’t great. I’ll definitely return however as I want to try a few things on their menu and the service was great!

Really cool new addition to Pineville. This restaurant used to be Pizza Hut directly beside Krispy Kreme.

1. They did an excellent job remodeling and really making the space feel like a Mexican restaurant. They use just the right amount of lively colors and dim lighting to make you feel like you're having an experience. They have a decent amount of indoor seating and a large patio.

2. On our visit we had a very attentive waiter. He was kind and well mannered. He made sure to get our order out to us immediately. He also made sure that he had chips and salsa at our table not long after we were seated.

3. I thought the food was really good. My wife and I shared wings, street corn, and the shrimp fajitas. Everything was well seasoned and tasted great. There is nothing that I can really complain about.

4. The restaurant seems to be pretty popular. It was full but they managed to seat us without a wait. They have a parking lot but it is fairly small. However, if the parking lot is full you should be able to make use of parking from the shopping center next door.

Our first time there, our server Rodrigo knew the menu and recommended the octopus. Wow that was delicious!!!!!! The street was spot on, very good. You also must try LA Mula fantastic drink. Rodrigo was great, the drinks and food came out on time zero issues. I will be going back, fabulous spot.

Beautiful detail went into this restaurant. Such a lovely way to surprise friends or family. It has such a nice appeal to everyone. It feels very modern and upscale. Prices are reasonable. The food is authentic and some of the best in the area. The drinks are amazing and the curb appeal of this restaurant is top notch. Recommend to anyone looking for a good place to entertain guests and take fun pictures
