Wow. What an incredible restaurant! A very clean dining space with great customer service. Food flavors are fresh and complex. I tried the Spicy Chicken bowl and was delighted by the nuance of the spice along side the salt and vinegar flavors of the vegetables and kimchi. The flavors complimented each other well with the rice.

I definitely will be coming back for more! Couldn’t recommend this enough if you’re in the area. 5/5 stars

The staff was super sweet and very accommodating. The restaurant was very clean. I ordered the Galbi bowl. It was very tasty, the ribs were tender, moist, and full of flavor. I am planning to return and order their spicy squid bowl next time.

I LOVE this place! The food was so delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The environment was clean. They allowed us to try samples before buying. I love spicy food, but my friends don’t. This place had something for each of us. It’s so delicious that even though we are traveling, we’re coming back before we leave Charlotte. Highly recommend.

We had the most delicious food at Joa! The beef short rib was melt in your mouth good and the spicy pork and squid are full of flavor. We even got a side of veggies to split. The owners are so nice and helped walk through the menu with us. The place was clean and it had a few tables to sit at and enjoy the great food. We would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing love it! Lost for words just amazing, kinda pricey but with prices high I understand, small but great local area! 2 spicy chickens 1 bulgogi japchae, and 1 galbi. all of us loved it besides one but still loved it 69$ + 10$ tip, got drinks free and kimchi!
