Rice Blossom

We had sushi and a couple of entrees. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have a brown rice option for either. I was very disappointed that they drenched some of the sushi in a sweet, sticky brown sauce with a very overpowering flavor. The entries were pretty good. We will give it another try. I need to remember to ask for no sauce on the sushi!

Used to be "川王府” but rebranded as rice blossom. Certain dishes taste better than the others. The spicy flaming pan was a good choice but they only put a minimum amount of fuel below the pan which hardly kept it warm.

I was sad to see Taste of Shu close but this was an excellent replacement. I ordered the sushi and the kani salad appetizer.

We had a great experience at Rice Blossom. I ordered off the original Szechuan menu — the spicy lamb with Szechuan sauce. It was delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful. We also ordered pan fried dumplings and they were not served with the lace that the menu says so I wouldn’t order them again. But overall a good experience!
