We had been to Zadar Jane's once before and thoroughly enjoyed the food, coffee and service. Our waitress Kris had previously given us our best dining experience on record. We decided to go back and we were not disappointed!
My husband and I have some ingredient restrictions. Not only did Kris ensure we were aware when this might be an issue she thoroughly checked ingredients and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be coming back over and over again because the food is delicious, but more importantly their service is wonderful.
This was my first time since becoming a Google local guide eating there. I have always gotten great customer and excellent food. This visit was no exception! My girlfriend was very impressed and she is very, very, perticular about food!!! She definitely wants to go back and I will be taking her as soon as I can!!!
This place is really a Charlotte landmark and the best food and service in Charlotte. Now if you come in on Sunday morning you have to keep in mind lthat everyone else is pretty much doing the same thing. So this means giving extra time to servers and wait staff and a good bit of understanding to what their work load is like.
If you are a little sensitive to being held to service restrictions like (mask) and how an employee needs you to act in order for you to get prompt service....then this is not your place.
If you come with negative energy this will not be for you.
However if you are looking for a fun, laid back place to enjoy food, drinks and people this is a place for you.
Was recommended to try this place from a friend and it lived up to the recommendation. Only had about a 20 minute wait on a Saturday morning at brunch.
I tried the Bunny Rancheros and it was amazing. I love trying new things and this was definitely different, would definitely get it again!
Zada Jane's was one of the first breakfast spots we ate at when we first moved to Charlotte 8 years ago and is one of the reasons we ultimately decided to call The PM our home. They have interesting dishes you won't find anywhere else. Just remember that this restaurant is really more of a neighborhood joint so service can sometime be 'at their own pace', if you know what I mean.
