D9 Brewing Lake Norman

The patio is awesome and Swell Rider is my favorite beer!

Definitely my go-two brewery in the Lake Norman area. Indoor and outdoor seating - great place to go year around. My husband and I have been going here since we were dating and continue to go back whether it’s to sit around and hang out or get some beers to go!

I’ve always been a fan of D9’s beer. When I lived in south CLT I’d go to certain stores to buy their brews. I called the brewery today being in need of beers and wanting something good. I was pleasantly greeted by a message on their line providing delivery information. Couldn’t believe it ...but within 35 minutes of choosing what beer I wanted, it was sitting in my driveway! Katy called me within 3-5 minutes after I chose my beer for order confirmation and payment. Boom! My order was on its way within no time. Amazing experience. If you order more than a certain amount, they waive the delivery fee too. I’ll be calling back soon to order again and recommend anyone to utilize this fantastic service.

One of my favorite breweries! But what is it with the new weird bib overall butchers aprons?! Not sure if I should order a beer or ask what good cuts of beef they have? Seriously.. logo shirts are what bartenders should have.
Anyway I could go on for the apron godawfulness.. but go for the great brews... wonderful staff and maybe giggle at the farmers aprons!

Located in a local business park, the bar is pretty large and there is lots of seating indoors and outside. There are board games like Scrabble and Jenga on a shelf for customers to use. I only saw one test room, but there was a sign for more in back. Outdoor patio was nice, corn hole game available. The beer was pretty good, had a watermelon, cucumber gose. Not bad!
