Lake House Bar & Grill

Having just moved out to the seven lakes area my wife and I were looking for a good lunch place that was closer than southern pines. We found this place on google maps and figured we'd check it out. We walked in and it was pretty empty so I was worried at first. We ordered an appetizer sampler and I was pleasantly surprised by the wings and that everything tasted fresh and prepared correctly.

We ordered meals and drinks (a burger and chicken salad sandwich both with fries) and the food was great. The service was excellent and waitress was very friendly. I will definitely be going back. I have no doubt this is a great spot to eat wings, have a beer, and watch a game with friends and family.

The recent remodel took this neighborhood hangout to the next level and now feels like a really cosy family restaurant. They kept the TV's for the sports fans, but softened the decor and added some comfy seating in the new waiting area as well as a large table that just invites a large group of friends and family to join in a meal together.

My favourite meal is still the fish n chips but I think it's hard to go wrong with any order here.

Wow. Took family and everyone was asking to go again soon. Between us we tried the cheeseburger, onion rings, hand cut fries, Reuben, Philly, and blackened chicken wrap. All of it was delicious and there was so much food we ate half and brought the rest home for supper. Server was super friendly and great with the kids. Very clean inside and nice sports decor.
