Some of the most friendly staff. The food was excellent. I had the pot roast, and my wife had a fish sandwich. We used a coupon, so we ate for 20 bucks. Better than fast food. It's a must try, and it will be a place we will visit again.

Food and portions were excellent. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Service was above and beyond... The gentleman who took our order explained the menu options, took our order, delivered our food and checked on us and other diners in the dining room. We were undecided about one of the sides when ordering, after deciding not to order the side, they delivered a free side with our meal... What a great way to show off their great food and service! I'm glad we are locals, we will certainly be back ... Our new favorite place!

Finally tried this place, and it was hard to drag the kiddos away from our usual Freddy’s stop… It was fantastic!! We were kindly greeted as soon as we walked up to checkout the menu; the manager had a nice conversation with my kiddos and offered them free dessert. They got the banana pudding and a carrot cake—both were so good. We also tried a kids Mac n’ cheese with potato wedges and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw. Everything came out delicious. The spice on the chicken sandwich is on point and the Mac n’ cheese was perfect (I’ve got a few aficionados to prove it). The potato wedges were crispy and the coleslaw was fresh. Thanks Homeward Kitchen for a great experience; we’ll be back to see you soon!

Everything the restaurant industry has been needing! Excellent food, exceptional service and the atmosphere is beautiful! It's wonderful to have home cooked favorites for a great price and minimal time! No boring burgers and fries here! I have been twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. We have tried the pot roast entree with mashed potatoes, pot roast bowl, honey chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese balls, potato wedges and all three desserts. Everything was delicious and you can tell time and effort went into making every meal delicious! The breakfast bowl was also fantastic. Perfectly seasoned, pretty presentation and a good portion for the price. I love the decor and felt comfortable in both the booth we sat at for dinner and the family table we sat at for breakfast. And I cannot say enough about the exceptional crew! Everyone was friendly, eager to please and knowledgeable about the offerings. Well done, Homeward Kitchen!! I can't wait for one to pop up closer to where I live but I'll definitely go out of my way to return to this one until then!

So excited to have a fast food type establishment with some better food options than your typical place. This is the first of its kind and they just had their opening. Others need to show some patience and appreciation our town has this very unique option.
