American Deli

Customer service is poor in rocky mount America deli. Food great but poor customer service especially the lady that do cashier she don’t greet you or try to help with the the menu also have s attitude when you ask questions. Only been there twice and my 1st and 2nd time there was with the same lady customer service was always the same. Both times when I came in she was cleaning tables which was fine with me but I shouldn’t have to stand there 4 minutes to wait to order it don’t take that long to clean one table then when she finally get around the counter she doesn’t say sorry for the wait or how may I help you she just look at you and wait till you say something it’s CRAZY hopefully they get a better person to do the register cause she not the one.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAVE RECEIVED THAT SERVICE I SEEN HER DO THE SSME WITH OTHER AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER BUT I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK UNTIL I KNOW ITS ANOTHER PERSON AT THE REGISTER WITH GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE..I put three stars only for the food.

Workers are very nice and helpful. The Philly cheese-steak is amazing and a nice size. Fries are also given generously, I'll be back. Also like that you are shown your food before you take it, to make sure everything is to your liking.

Food was delicious. Portions was worth the price. Steak and cheese was great and the banana peppers was my favorite. Sweet chilli and mild sauce was the perfect compliment to sauce and chicken. I love a crispy crinkle cut french fry and they hit the spot. Definitely a food spot to check out.

That was one hell of a cheese steak! I would put it right on par with Tony Luke's. The wings were great and I loved the juice. I would bath in the orange if they would have let me. The staff was extremely attentive and the food came out fast. Next time I'm in town you better believe I'm coming back for more!
