    Absolutely loved this place. The 50s music and old time movie photos really added to the charm and ambiance. My daughter loved the chicken and I loved the banana pudding. Very affordable prices.

    It's nice for a quick lunch or dinner that can feed 5 to 7 people for less than 40 dollars. Now that's a deal we have learned to love and the food is great

    We were traveling and way behind schedule (too many travelers, not enough interstate - post Thanksgiving travel, what are you gonna do?), so we opted for a fast food option for dinner.

    I wasn't too excited about it going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was yummy. We all got the barbecue platter (pork - it is NC after all). Moist, tasty, and not at all fatty. Platters come with two sides and hush puppies. Our choices were: Brunswick stew, fries, Cole slaw, and baked beans.

    Everything was freshly prepared. Servings were reasonable - sides were ample; regular platter meat portion is 6 oz, 8 oz in the large.

    The hush puppies were on point.
    Brunswick stew was tasty; fries were fresh, hot, and crispy; Cole slaw was cold,crunchy, and strong with sweet pickle; baked beans were savory/sweet with bits of pork.

    Friendly staff, prompt service, clean dining area and rest rooms.
