I’ve eaten at this restaurant at least a
Half dozen times and have had a very nice meal everytime. The products are
Fresh, the combinations are endless, the sauces tie it all together and if you have questions the folks there are very
Pleasant, professional and polite. I’ve had the poke bowls, the tacos and the sushi and have yet to have an issue or walked away wanting more. Great job
to the staff and the owner for giving this side of town something that was
Much needed. Keep up the good work.

Delicious! I'm very picky with sushi. I worked at a sushi restaurant for over three years, so my standards are high and they were met with my burrito. The fish was fresh and the service was excellent. I did make my own with soy paper and white rice. So I can't comment on the ones on the menu. The make your own option is perfect for someone like me who is very picky with sushi.
I've been wanting a sushi burrito for years ... ever since I heard about them. The novelty is high but it tastes good too. You are paying extra for a novelty item but you should have known that before you come in the door. Yes, you can get the sushi rolls elsewhere for cheaper but you can't get a sushi burrito. It was definitely worth the price. I will be back.

Such a delicious, unique place for sushi lovers. I've built my own burrito (tuna, mango, avocado, green onion, cilantro, spicy mayo, sweet soy ????) and tried the bearcat on separate occasions--one sushi burrito is plenty for a meal!! Both were out-of-this-world truly memorable level of delicious. They have bowls that look great and options for people who prefer chicken or other cooked meats, too. Off the beaten path for midtown folks, but well worth the trip. Grab some boozy ice cream (next door/connected) for dessert. YUM!

For being a clever idea and really tasty, the execution and price points are really what make it difficult to come back again. I love sushi - but eating it as a burrito is not really efficient. It spills out from each end, its so hard to bite through the seaweed paper. I don't want to go back to work from my lunch break with stains on my shirt.

The time it actually takes to make a roll and get an side is really long when this is made to be a quick-sushi-lunch option (especially when I was the only one in line the whole time).

For myself and my husband it was almost $48 for 1 burrito each, 1 shared side, and 2 small drinks. :O It's hard because its so close to us, but for a lesser price and sometimes quicker pace, we can head to our favorite sushi restaurant and have 2-3 rolls, apps, drinks, and quick service for lunch, which may ultimately be what we continue to do.

Tasty lunch - not as fast as you'd hope it would be - and really expensive for a quick meal option. :/
