Kate's Pancake House

Well worth the usual 20-30 minute wait. Hands down, the best pancakes I've ever had anywhere. Great service. Friendly and accommodating staff. A must for anyone on vacation in the area.

Awesome breakfast! Everything looked so good ..Ordered the breakfast sampler. Pancake, half waffle, one piece of French toast, 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs. Great prices and service!

Kates much better and faster than the "minus 5 star Stoked". I reluctantly ordered the Cajun omelet ,not sure I would like it. It was best omelet I ever ate. A superb combination of flavors.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. They have some amazing sculptures on the walls of aquatic life, and the staff were pretty fantastic. The largest downfall is that they are incredibly busy. Its very small, and they have done the best with their space as they can, but it is a local favorite and tourist favorite alike.

A little disappointed in the experience. Quaint place located in the middle of Carolina Beach. Our party of five arrived between 10-11 and there was a bit of a wait. Parking lot for the restaurant is small so be prepared for the possibility of metered parking. Service was reasonable considering the establishment was full to the brim. They offer a variety of unique pancake options. I ordered the short stack and Little Pink skillet. The pancakes were average and skillet was good.
