Pop's Diner

This place graciously hosted my family (6-top) twice while on vacation, and not only were they accommodating.. the food was amazing!

I had the pleasure of talking with the owner on my last visit and she shared a love of food with me as we discussed all the things they make from scratch at Pops.

The BBQ sauce is legit! But make sure to try a burger, fresh and the buns are made from angel whispers.

Food and atmosphere was outstanding! Server was a slow and inaccurate (not sure if he was new to his job or just didn't want to be there) but we didn't allow this take away from what we could see from the other servers performance to the customers. Definitely could have used some cleaning (floors, tables, seats and especially restrooms).

A nice little diner though the A/C was clearly not working today. The fry dip sandwich is a must try...so good. Also get a basket of sweet potato fries and ask for honey butter to dip them in. So close to 5 star however the service could have been better - she spent as much time on her phone as she did taking care of us.

I ordered the chicken tenders, fries, and corn. The tenders were some of the best I've eaten. The fries and corn were great as well. My husband ordered the fried shrimp with slaw. He said the shrimp was great and the slaw was just ok. My three kids ate most of their food which was a huge deal! We waited a while on our food and it was a little pricey($70 for 5 meals including tip) but we would eat here again.

I overall loved this diner! I am from Maryland and me and my family came here for dinner. I loved the service. The amount we waited was ok for the amount of food we ordered. This place is very friendly.Definitely would recommend this!
