The best steamed shrimp I've had in years. An awesome coconut cake that was homemade and one of the best most flavorful coconut cakes I've ever had.

We came on a Sunday, and there was just one bartender and one cook. Despite them getting slammed with two huge food orders at once, they got our food our in a pretty timely fashion, and holy cow, let me tell you .... It was 100% totally worth it! He food was fantastic!

Atmosphere was quiet and calm. My husband, his cousin and I ordered three sweet teas, a dozen oysters and a seafood medley. Enjoyed talking with the fellow patrons. Seafood was exceedingly delicious. Sad that we were not able to see any of the attractions at Carolina beach.

While this place is located in the heart of the boardwalk, one would peg it as strictly a tourist joint, but not the case. This is almost right up there with the Fat Pelican as a spot for locals. They pretty much have it all, a full bar, a great menu with awesome specials and karaoke on the weekends, and speaking of weekends this place packs.out pretty early so grab your spot wisely and show up before the rush.
