Good bar atmosphere. Great staff. But the food is actually great. Not just typical bar food at all. Have never been disappointed. ????
Slainte on Carolina Beach Road is a treat. Lots of indoor seating and a nice patio area outside, the place is your typical Irish Pub...but the food is exceptional. This Shepherd's Pie was fantastic, ground beef, veggies and gravy covered in mashed potatoes and cheese...each bite was perfect. Friends had the cannonballs (deep fried loaded mashed potato balls) and fish and chips (gotta try with salt and vinegar, you'll never go back)...and both of those choices were spot on. Prices are very reasonable and I will go back soon. I rarely give 5 stars but this place is right about there.
We loved the atmosphere and Irish music! We ate outside as the weather was perfect, and inside was too loud. The Irish whiskey was on sale and delicious. The burgers were great (and big! 1/2 pound burgers), but we didn't care for the fries. The tater tots were a much better side. $8 for a ceaser salad (we had thought we had ordered a side salad btw) was ridiculous, but everything else was well priced. Clean restrooms. Really nice staff! Over all, we'd definitely return.
Wow...amazing food, service, and beer. Whether if we have ordered on UberEats, or dined in person, Sláinte delivers banging food, from a very well run kitchen. Fresh ingredients, wonderful personality of Chris in the back of house, they aim to make your dining experience worth every penny. It's so close to home, and many areas in town being so centrally located, I cant wait to return. Extreme selection of Whiskey and Scotch....with awesome beers on tap, that taste clean, beer lines serviced as they should be. CHEERS!
Nice little place to drop in for a beer and some food. Decided to try out the main dish Shepherd’s Pie; did not meet my expectations. The filling was not consistent with the veggies on one side of the filling; there was not enough gravy to keep it all moist. Asked if they had some HP sauce (English brown sauce) as a condiment and they did not.
