Boathouse Restaurant

This is a casual restaurant. The hush puppies were good but the collard greens were awful. No seasoning. The wild rice was Uncle Ben's or at least it tasted just like the ones I make from the box. The salmon was good. The black eyed peas were not seasoned. This is the south. I'd expect this kind of tasteless food in the north but I had better tasting greens and black eyed peas in the north. I wouldn't waste my time going to this restaurant.

Good seafood and lots of choices. Great if you're on a diet. They will happily accommodate you. This was my first time eating there and I will certainly be back. I gave them only 4 stars because we had to wait a long time for our food. There was a large crowd ahead of us but many other tables who were sat after us had already eaten and left when we got our food.

The waitress was great, the food was good. I had the catfish and shrimp with sides of tomatoes and cucumbers and fresh fruit. Everything was perfect except the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh. I expected them to be freshly made but I think they were pre-made and soaking in the dressing made them a little mushy. I would suggest making them to order to prevent it from over soaking.

If you love seafood, this is the place to be. The Flounder, shrimp, and oysters were outstanding! Service was equally good and the prices were very good. Quality seafood at good prices with great drinks and service! Definitely check them out! I will be back!

Went here for dinner. The food was good and the kitchen was fast. Our server was excellent. The food was fresh but their shrimp is by far the best thing on the menu. Lightly breaded and very sweet.
