Candle Nut Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The staff is excellent and friendly. The owner greeted us at the door and seated us then Jennifer promptly took our drinks. The food itself was cooked well and full of amazing flavor. I had the Beef Rendang, which was a slow cooked beef, and it was tender and oh so good.

I highly recommend this lovely jewel if you are looking for something that is different from the usual Asian eateries in town.

Also try all the sambals!

asian food and the feeling at this place is great. Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I liked.

Small, quaint, and delicious. Very flavorful and authentic. Awesome lunch special as well. Definitely will dine at Candle Nut Restaurant again. Today we had the vegetable fried noodles and broccoli with jasmine rice. Both meals with a side of Javanese Chicken soup.

The owner is very friendly and made my husband and I feel welcome as if we were in her home.The beef soup warmed me up, and my husband had the lamb curry to keep off the cold outside. Perfect food for a chilly night. Savory and hearty!

I was SO incredibly impressed with this food tonight! Sad that we have been missing it until now! Excellent excellent food!! The fried rice was amazing!! We also ordered the chicken and broccoli and it was the most flavorful chicken and broccoli I have ever had! We can't wait to order the rest of the menu! So excited this place is in our neck of the woods! Amazing food!! Highly recommend!!
