The staff is always super friendly and the hot dogs are great. Also, try their apple caramel cookies!! Those things are to die for!

This is in the top two hot dog restaurants I dine in on a very regular basis. The variety of different hot dogs is awesome. I tend to get my standard mustard, ketchup, chili, & onions or mustard, ketchup, relish, & onions but occasionally I try one of their specialty hot dogs and they are always fantastic. If you ever get the hot dog with the Brisket on the hot dog you will order it again on a return visit. The combination of Brisket and hot dog and the other fixings combined will make a flavorful impression on your mind that will have you coming back to try it a second time. I usually get the two dog special which comes with a drink and a bag of chips. If I had the time I would probably eat lunch there everyday !

Trolly Stop...eat your heart out. These dogs are way better than the local favorite. I am always greeted and helped my friendly staff. Huge menu to choose from and mouth watering dogs to boot!

in a word this is the best restaurant I have ever visited. The food is exceptional, the parking lot for a downtown establishment is very easy to get into and out of, there are plenty of spaces, and most importantly, for me, when I walked into this restaurant I thought it was a brand new location just recently built.

The restaurant was spotless there wasn't even dust on the blinds, everything was literally looking brand new, and then I asked how long the restaurant had been there, if it had just been opened, and I was told that it had been in that location for 7 years!

I've worked in several restaurants, have been taught how to tear down and clean a kitchen by an ex-marine cook, and while my review may not resonate with everyone who reads it, I can tell you that what they've accomplished at this restaurant is just amazing and speaks of nothing but hard work and attention to detail.

The music they were playing was excellent, there were songs that were recognizable, and then there were songs that were just good down-home easy listening blues which fit in perfectly with the decor of the restaurant.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to meet the owner Louis and tell him how much I appreciated the restaurant and his attention to detail, cleanliness, and quality food. He seemed to genuinely appreciate my comments, and he seemed to be a very nice guy.

Take a look at my posted pictures and there's one good actually has a tiny statue of him holding a hot dog in it which a customer made for him.

Now to the food. we had three different hot dogs the Mailman, the Stetson, in the Mo Hot. We also had the Wilmington which is a brisket sandwich with pimento cheese, jalapenos, molasses BBQ sauce, Jamaican relish, and creamy coleslaw. Needless to say I really enjoyed this food. We also had a side of potato salad and BBQ beans. I also really enjoy both of those. One of the smaller details in the restaurant that really added flavor were the salt and spices shakers they had at the tables.
We do not live in Wilmington, and I know there are other locations, and I can't imagine the other locations would be better maintained or serve a quality of food better than this one, but if we did live in Wilmington we would add this to our restaurant rotation and be sure to eat here often.

Thanks Lewis and crew for doing such a great job have a wonderful life!
