I love how all these new local places have popped up in Wilmington lately. For living so close to the ocean seafood in Wilmington is still more than you would expect, even so Coquina was well worth the price. The entire aesthetic of the place was wonderful. I loved the modern lamps and the tiling inside. To tope it off the staff was super friendly. My server Mercedes was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose great food. The in house made hummus was the best hummus I have ever had. The Blackened Seafood pasta was phenomenal. I love how the local businesses support each other and help the local economy. The drinks are made from distilleries in the local area. This place is definitely my go to spot for seafood in the future. Just want to thank the staff and the chefs for doing such a good job.

Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was excellent and cocktails are too! Will definitely be back! Tuna poke and Mullet dip were our favorites.

Great new restaurant in Wilmington. Feels fresh and authentic. Whole snapper and conch fritters were both phenomenal and the desserts were can’t miss. Looking forward to introducing more friends to it after a great first experience.

I have lived in Wilmington for over 50 years. The lack of true seafood options is amazing. Generally people ask where I should go for seafood, and I had no answer. After eating at Coquina last night, that question will no longer go unanswered. I had the conch fritters and snapper and both were delicious. Being older, they also took precautions to keep me and my wife away from other guests, which allowed us to eat and have some normalcy in our lives while still feeling safe. I highly recommend this place
