New place that appears to have opened recently. It's an Itialian restaurant with very homey feeling. Lots of families (young children) are around eating delicious food. The inside is filled with large benches, and there's outside sitting as well. When it comes to the food, it is probably one of the best pizza that I've tried so far in Wilmington. Thin bread but chunky crust, food is made quickly, fresh ingredients, nice customer service. My favourite is their mozzarella- very soft, non-salty, just delicious!! There's an inside oven so the pizza is fired-baked. The host is also very hospitable and funny. Their desserts are also pretty amazing! Not crazy sweet! They make their own handmade canolis! The have an assortment of cakes: we tried the ricotta pistachio cake-amazing! They also have imported Gelato and THEIR ICE-CREAM WHEEL IS MADE BY FERRARI! SO COOL!
I may or may not have eaten the pizza before remembering to snap a photo of the entire thing. I read a lot of the reviews which compelled me to give this place a shot.
I wasn’t disappointed. The pizza was was good but not completely what my mouth was set up for (per the reviews). I will definitely return in the future.
Wood fired pizza next to a brewery, a match made in heaven.
Came here on a Thursday night for takeout pizza to bring next door to the brewery. The pizzas came out quick and were done perfectly. They even deliver the pizzas next door to HighWire Brewery.
Check out the deserts if you are looking for a sweet treat after the pizza or beer, the cannolis are amazing!
Super great pizza! We love this style and are often disappointed - we were not! The dough is great, the tomato sauce is simple and bright, fresh cheese & quality ingredients. Will be here regularly.
The pizza smelled so good that we couldn't help but dig in before I thought to take a pic. The pizza itself was flavorful. I think the pricing is reasonable. The atmosphere was cute and the staff were very sweet. (We also had a delish cannoli that is not pictured here).
They are located right next to Hi-Wire which will definitely add to my enjoyment of the brewery.
