Pho Vanhly Noodle House

I was born and raised in Laos for over 20 years. This place reminded me of my home, it's the most authentic tasting Lao cuisine in the entire east coast USA. Tho they are only specialized in noodle menus, still, it's worth trying this place out if you want to experience the true Laotian taste. I've been to many Laotian cuisine places, most of which doesn't even come close to be this authentic.

I recommend Khao Piek, traditional Laos rice noodle in crispy pork belly.

We have been looking for a restaurant who serves delicious Pho Soup that equals our favorite restaurant in VA since moving to NC. Last evening we tried Pho Vanhly with hopes this might be it. We were not disappointed! We started with their spring rolls, delish! I then had the Chicken Pho Soup, I must admit I was a little concerned of trying due to a previous review stating it was bland and flavorless. I’m very happy to report that was NOT the case at all for me! It was the soup flavor I’ve been search for for the last 9 years we’ve lived here and in this state! My husband had his normal Beef Pho and was equally impressed! Our only minor complaint was it didn’t have any noticeable onions in it or lime wedges along with the basil, bean sprouts, etc for adding to the soup. But no worries our sweet, attentive server brought both to us when we requested them. We have finally found our favorite Pho Soup restaurant in Porters Neck, just down the road from our home!

I love Pho Vanhly. Had the beef pho and it was absolutely delicious. The broth, beef, noodles, and vegetables were perfection. Plus, the portion size was generous -- the bowl was bigger than my head! Fast, friendly, and attentive service. Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Dropped in for lunch with some friends to try the new place out. Had the summer rolls (really full with vegetables and delicious) and their house sandwich. Sandwich came out with a warm roll, excellent taste. My friends had the chicken pho and beef pho. No complaints there. When I go back, I will try their Laotian offerings.
