The Half

The Half really hits the spot for me, exactly what was missing and needed in this area of Wilmington. Super tasty sandwiches prepared with housemade ingredients and select meats/cheeses on a variety of excellent bread.

This team of friendly folks knows a thing or two about great brews as well. If you're not sure what you may enjoy the most, just ask and they will point ya in the right direction.

It's good! Certainly worth a stop for lunch. The Harvey was delicious, but the bread was a little too crunchy. The Italian Parts Unknown was fine, could use some better bread, but was certainly not the best Italian sub in town. The chips were great and the pickle was worth the extra $1. The potato salad was tasty, but not worth the extra $3....

We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this sandwich shop in Wilmington and it did not disappoint. The new owners have done a great job renovating the previous Detour Deli space- including a great outdoor area in the back. The menu has many options for the vegan or vegetarian. I got the Jojo - the ciabatta bread was delicious- the fresh cucumber added a cool crunch to balance the kimchi. I got the pickle and chips- the pickle had a little spice and tons of crunch- delicious!!! My husband got the Caprese as he had been missing Detours' Riverside Drive- it was tasty. Topping things off, the beer selection was great- both draft and can/bottle options. I also appreciate the hours, as I work on the other side of town so having an option for dinner NOT just lunch is awesome. I am so glad to have a solid sandwich shop in town with inventive menu items that taste fantastic!!! Great job all around!!

This place is so great and a much needed addition to Wilmington! The sandwiches my husband and I had (the caprese and the take out) were fresh and absolutely delicious! We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. In addition to the sandwiches, they also have a diverse craft beer selection with something for everyone. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for great food and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back weekly!

Excellent. Great sandwiches -- good size, rustic bread. Great beer. Fast service. Beautiful, private outdoor seating. We got the Harvey and the Jojo and ended up swapping halfway so we could savor both. 10/10
