Za Pie Pizzeria

I had heard that this new pizza place opened and that it was the most like New Jersey pizza and you wanted found around here. Having grown up at the Jersey shore every summer I love Mac's Pizza, on the boardwalk, so I couldn't wait to give it a try. I'm excited to say they were right! It was the best pizza I've had since I moved here, I asked for a large, with extra cheese and I told whoever answered the phone that I would like it not overcooked. Sometimes it's so overcooked can't even eat it. But he promised he was the one that was going to make it and that it would be perfect. The pizza arrived less than 20 minutes later and it was the cheesiest pizza I've ever had and it was hot, hot hot! It had driven 20 minutes from their little store down on Carolina Beach Road and it was piping hot. I can tell you how many times I order food from somewhere and it's definitely not even warm. This was the best pizza experience I could have asked for. I ordered it a little early like after 4:00 and so maybe traffic was good, maybe they weren't behind because it was just starting to be towards dinner time, but I was pleased with everything. I hope you give them a try. I know I'll be back, and I'm going to order the exact same thing. Enjoy

Pleasantly surprised!! This is the new place in our area south of the monkey junction intersection and before the Carolina Beach bridge. All we had here was some chain pizza places and the new opening of Antonio's which is really good pizza. I'm confident in saying that Za Pie pizza is BETTER than Antonio's. Very happy to have Za Pie close by!

Had cauliflower crust with pepperoni, mushrooms, and banana peppers - it was delicious. Also had skillet pizza with veggies and ham - everything tasted great, crust was tasty. Will certainly go back again soon.

Last night (03/14/2022) we decided to order pizza for dinner and pick it up. After we paid for our pizza we stood inside to watch and I am very impressed with everyone working last night. Things we noticed last night that sets Za Pie apart from others . . .

First time here, awesome pizza and bread rolls! The staff was very attentive and pleasant, and we got our food fast. Restaurant is clean and open, with dining outside, well-kept landscape, and even a drive up window for pickup. Will return!
