We went a little before lunch time and it was not busy at all, which was nice. The service was great. The atmosphere was great for us since we were traveling with kids. There was a game room (old stuff but kids didn't care). The patio with the parrot was great for the kids to run around on while we waited for our food. Rocking chairs on the deck were perfect on a gorgeous day. The food didn't seem to take long since we had plenty to do outside. The food was average to above average over all. The kids fried flounder was excellent. Would definitely return.
I like to support local businesses. Thought I'd try this place. Came on a Saturday around 2:00. Clam chowder was very good. I had the crab melt sandwich which was also good, but rich. Nikki was very attentive. Service was on slow side. Would come back to try raw bar.
Great atmosphere and really friendly people. Leo was the nicest waiter I've had in a long time. (Be sure to ask for him, you won't regret it!) The founder is amazing and had a portion that I could take about half home with me. (Also very reasonably priced) I'm happy I stopped by on my way through!
We had seasoned shrimp as an appetizer that was so hot it could burn your fingers!
The beer was cold and the food fresh. Fried flounder tender and juicy, onion rings and hush puppies were fabulous. Grilled chicken with perfectly cooked potatoes and veggies.
Our server was great. The food super! Would definitely recommend.
Food was spectacular. Service... Not so much. We arrived and had a 30 minute wait which was totally understandable. So, we sat at the bar while we waited. Bartenders were great—got us an appetizer and kept our drinks full. After approximately 45 minutes we were sat at a table. We did not see our server for 20 minutes. We were finally able to place an order. We did not see our server for another 30 minutes until our food was brought out to us. My wife's seafood platter was missing the flounder and hush puppies. After another 10 minutes, her flounder was brought out. We never got her hush puppies.
As mentioned, the food was great. I would definitely recommend the crab dip for an appetizer and the seafood platter for an entree. Hopefully the aforementioned issues were just an anomaly.
