    Excellent service and food. Every time we’ve gone it has been amazing. The food taste wonderful and it’s the best portions in town. I’ve had 3 of there chefs make our meals and they’ve all been good. But Quincy is my favorite! He truly focuses on the meal as being a social gathering, he is polite and encourages others to be envolved in the conversation while the food is made. The only place we get hibachi in town now

    We had a fantastic time. Our chef was super friendly and funny. The food was amazing. A great experience all around.

    Service not as good as previous visits. My daughter and I weren't treated as well as the 2 married couples at the other end of our table. The cook was quiet and not a very good showman. The food was good.

    This was our first time here despite living in Jacksonville for over a decade. Concerning hibachi: if the chef is comfortable and entertaining, the food is generally quite good. My family's experience at Hakata was great. Servers were quick and attentive, chef was quick witted entertaining both adults and kids, and the meal was delicious. Cabbage isn't often offered, but it is here. Definitely a hidden gem in Jacksonville.
