“Ordered from Grub Hub asked for only meat and cheese on the philly, but both of my sandwiches came with only meat and cheese. I am not sure if it was an error in the Grub Hub system or not. The mac and cheese was okay. There was no salt or pepper or other spices in it that I could tell. I would try this place again. Probably in person though. Food was on time though, and still semi warm. My delivery driver was nice. Which is a plus, I guess.”

“I have not been in a solid 5 years or longer because the grease was not being changed and the chicken was tasting like fish and the fries like greasy garbage. And I was hooked on the spicy chicken and fries before that. So, I decided since it had been mannnnny years, surely they had cleaned the grease by now. And yes!! Thank you!! The spicy chicken and fries were delicious. The service was great, the cashier was all smiles and very sweet! The food was hot and served with no wait! So happy.”

“I like this place. Their steamed dumplings are very good and everything else I have tried has been really good. Their menu is primarily American Chinese food. It would be nice to see more fresh vegetable options, like pea sprouts, spinach, in a garlic sauce with mushrooms. But, food is always cooked fresh and hot. The service has always been good.”

“The place was clean, with the main room and bathroom selling clean. It was busy, but no so much we're we were waiting for a table, or waited in the buffet line long. The food was good, if a little limited, but it is a pizza buffet. My favorite is the new stuffed crust pizzas. The desert section is a little lacking, with very little update in that regard, always the same three items, while good, are a little limited. Over all, a nice experience with the family, no one left hungry.”

“This place is great for people on a budget and those looking for a full dinner. You can get a $4 cheese burger or a $20 seafood dinner. That is why I gave this place 5 stars. The food was good. As pictured is the special for $16. Good lunch menu but only M-Sat. Cozy atmosphere with excellent service. Condiments are placed on the table which is nice. Hush puppies come in a basket without a plate. This makes it hard to use sauce. Pretty view of the river hence the name. It would be nice to have outdoor seating.”

The staff has always been super friendly. The kitchen area always clean. You can watch them prepare your food as you sit unless you are busy watching the pier and photos. “In February 2019 we decided to host a Chinese New Year party. (We're not Chinese but we love to host parties!) We went to New China restaurant to order the food because we like it and they've always treated us well. We ordered vegetarian fried rice, General Tso's chicken, beef with broccoli, twice cooked pork, and chow mei fun, etc. We asked for chop sticks and sauces to accompany the food. We told them 6 quarts of white rice would be enough. They gave us 6 quarts beyond what they usually incude, but did not charge for the extra rice. We ordered everything the day before, and asked them to deliver at 2:00 the next day. The food and everything we ordered was delivered within 5 minutes of the requested time, hot and fresh. Thank you New China...you did great by us!”
