Carolina Brewery

It's a nice brewery, but the bartenders are nicer than what they sell. I really do appreciate a local brewery myself. However I saw a big cockroach climbing across the concrete under the fermentation tanks. The local feel however makes up for the shortcomings!

Carolina Brewery is a real Chapel Hill institution. Their beers are all pretty good and the selection is relatively small which is nice considering the overwhelming number of options at some places. The food is top notch and the menu changes every so often. One time they had a Carolina style Cuban panini with pimento cheese, oh man that was unbelievably good! The service has always been very helpful and friendly too. They have some outdoor seating which is great on a nice day or evening.

Really like the "local burger" it was cooked to order and the food was fresh and tasty. The waffle fries were disappointing, I probably won't order them again. I also used Post mates for delivery. I don't recommend using this delivery service at all. They hooked me in with an offer of free delivery, but I ended up paying $20 for a $13.95 burger because they have hidden charges and they have the prices wrong. I will check out the restaurant in person though because the food was good. Except for the fries. Seriously, the burger is really really great!

decent service... the food is usually fantastic but I tried the new beef fried tacos and was very disappointed to find it was over cooked to the point that the meat was hard like salt rocks. They way over salted the meat that was soft enough to eat. Please fix this recipe, I would love to try it again!

The service here is always great! It can be tricky getting a table during a home game because they have this party bus that will drive you to the game. They have well priced kid meals, tasty salads, locally sourced beef burgers, many entree options, daily specials, and of course,...yummy beers!
