Service was very good, server very friendly and helpful. Menu a bit limited by my standards. Food was good, though not exceptional.

This is me and my husband's spot! Always nice and quiet great food, waiters and waitresses have been great. My favorite is the catfish and scallops with coleslaw and I get broccoli sometimes salad. Food cooked to perfection!

Good selection of seafood and mixed drinks. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Price was reasonable. The crowded parking lot is usually a good indicator that they are doing most things right. I will be back on a future visit to Chapel Hill.

Took my Mom you Squid's for her 81st birthday. I've been here before but it was several years ago and frankly not very memorable. Well they've definitely stepped up their game because I'll definitely be remembering it going forward! A great selection of fresh seafood to choose from. All nicely prepared, well portioned, with a good presentation. Oysters on the half-shell, live lobster, crab legs (they were out of these tonite...sadly), sea scallops, and a broad selection of fish. I actually ordered a steak which was delicious accompanied by my scallops! They were very accommodating to special requests and attentive to food allergies without missing a beat. Service was attentive without being overbearing. And the prices are very reasonable. An excellent choice for a casual seafood dinner. Squid's will definitely be on the regular rotation for us!

We enjoyed dining here. The service is excellent and friendly. Restaurant is clean and has a nice homey, cozy atmosphere. Our order was quick and the food was good. The breading on the fish, oysters, and scallops were nice and not thickly coated. The vegetable medley was good too. Not soggy or over cooked. Just right. Portions were good too for the price. We will definitely be back.
