Cora's is the perfect place to go for the best sandwich combos! The pairings are devine! Clean, customer service oriented and great quality food!

Totally impressed with the sandwich quality here. Actual French bread not a plain roll. The sauces were perfect. Wife's Italian panini was so big she's having the other half tonight.

Truth be told, we went back the next day to try 2 new sandwiches and once again the place did not disappoint and were great.

Considering there aren’t many other options in the area, I’m not surprised people think these are great sandwiches. This is a fun little deli on the island with a cute story. It’s a great place to stop and grab sandwiches when you’re going to South Topsail beaches. Convenient and great grab and go by the beach lunch.

The overall wow factor of the sandwiches left me disappointed (size, taste). It’s mostly deli meat sandwiches and one of the pros is that they do a good job of offering lots of options. Small indoor seating area and parking is almost non-existent.

I tried the Cuban…. didn’t hit the spot. Too much salty pressed deli meat vs fresh chopped pork with ham. Also lacking a good pickle ratio. Second sandwich was the Turkey and Brie. It has thick sliced Turkey meat with a Brie spread (not fresh sliced Brie) and strawberry jam. Difficult and messy to eat because the bread was very chewy and each time you took a bite most of the filling was pushed out so you had to put it all back in and bite, spill and repeat.

Again, if your going for the strictly deli sandwiches with jar condiments , you’ll be happy. If you’re hoping for a fresher style of sandwich with more homemade flavors, this isn’t it.

The best corned beef sandwich you will find in this part of North Carolina! If you are in the mood, order the King Corned Beef sandwich - a generous portion on both corned beef and pastrami on swirled rye bread.

The place isn’t that big, and sometimes there is a line, but take a few minutes to peruse the hilarious posters and art that all revolve around the deli’s namesake.

Not just because it's physically the closest restaurant to our beach house, but because the food here is fantastic, Cora's earns a solid 5 stars. Everything I've consumed here has been memorable, from the creative jams used in their wraps to the thick-sliced turkey, generously portioned salads (the caprese has ALL the mozzarella) to the comfort-food soups, even the flavored sweet teas hit all the right spots.

The menu isn't the only thing infused with character here. The staff are fun and friendly and the atmosphere with the deli's namesake photoshopped into everything makes the snug indoor dining area feel light and inviting.

The closest restaurant to our beach house also happens to be an inspired local deli.
