Gallagher's Sports Bar & Grill

Friendly staff and great burgers... Don't want a burger? Try the hurricane chicken (but in a wrap). Looking forward to having their seafood food next Definitely felt right at home and will make this a regular destination whenever I'm in Topsail.
Note that they are in the process of changing their name to "High Waters Sports Bar and Grill"

We had a great experience here because of the service. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. They make great bloody Mary’s and the food was good. I’d say your typical bar food nothing amazing but decent. If we travel back through we’d come back.

Food was great. As for service, all I can say is that it was there... Seemed very short staffed. Our waitress was very polite and friendly. She seemed to be working hard but couldn't quite keep up with everything. I would recommend this place but not during peak diner hours.

My neighbors and I are seasonal residents. We live close to this place and enjoy coming here for food and drink. I especially like the their fish taco wrap (I think that what it's called) and their homemade chips!

We enjoy Gallagher's as separate families and together. Recently we arrived together and were told that we could not be accommodated. We had a large party, but not large enough to be able to get a reservation - 3 kids under 8, 2 teenagers who are practically - if not already - adults, and 5 adults. We were told it would take an hour to be seated. And it would take just as long if we wanted to eat at separate tables (5 and 5). They had trivia night, so yeah, they had reservations for that to accommodate...but no reservations under 12 people, so I don't quite get that. Just after being turned away, we called ahead to the Breezeway and got seated quickly there. Further away for us, but they seemed to actually want our business. ????

The burgers used to be amazing and I would take guests visiting out of town here. The past few visits I have found they are lacking flavor. I had a burger last night and it had no seasoning whatsoever. I tasted the burger just by itself and could have made a better one at home. Service was fantastic as always that's why I'm giving it three stars.
